Paul was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota and spent his youth as a discontented member of the Twin Cities punk scene. Despite receiving a BA in history from the University of Minnesota, he spent his twenties managing a deli, organizing all age rock 'n' roll concerts, and booking touring rockabilly bands in area clubs. Paul then caught the radio bug and moved to New Mexico for his first radio job, doing the news at KPSA in Alamogordo. After a brief stint back in the frozen north working in the industrial noise control industry, he moved with his wife and daughter to Oregon where he took a job at KNND in Cottage Grove. After 13 years, 7 of them as the owner, it became time for another change. Paul is excited to be starting the next chapter of his life with the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce.
