Gateway Development Committee Meeting The Springfield Chamber's Gateway Development Committee is made up of representatives from Gateway area businesses, local and public agencies, and other interested Chamber members. The committee's charge is three-fold: 1. To provide a consistent forum for Springfield Chamber involvment and advocacy regarding Gateway area issues. 2. To reinforce the Chamber's and City of Springfield's image and identity within the Gateway area of Springfield. 3. To promote quality economic development and a better Springfield through the resolution of issues and removal of barriers to progress in the Gateway area.
