The committee reaches out to fellow members throughout the year, welcome new members aboard, and help celebrate membership milestones. This committee meets the third Tuesday of each month. The Education Committee is dedicated to creating a better future workforce and strengthening the bond between local businesses and the school district. The committee present several programs a year geared toward preparing Springfield K-12 youth for continued education and entering the workforce, The committee meets every third Tuesday of each month, except for prescheduled changes due to school events. The Springfield Chamber's Gateway Development Committee is made up of representatives from Gateway area businesses, local and public agencies, and other interested Chamber members. The committee's charge is three-fold:

1. To provide a consistent forum for Springfield Chamber involvment and advocacy regarding Gateway area issues.

2. To reinforce the Chamber's and City of Springfield's image and identity within the Gateway area of Springfield.

3. To promote quality economic development and a better Springfield through the resolution of issues and removal of barriers to progress in the Gateway area.

The committee meets on the last Friday of every month.
