Vision and Impact

Community begins right here, with your Chamber.
At the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, we believe that thriving businesses build a thriving community. Every program we lead, every connection we foster, and every policy we advocate for is made possible by one essential force for change: our investors.
From corporations and small businesses to solo-preneurs and community leaders, our members power the Chamber’s work. And our Impact Investors are more than contributors; they are difference-makers – driving lasting change throughout Springfield and beyond. Together, we’re laying the foundation for a stronger economy, better jobs, and a revitalized community.
The Springfield area is growing fast and there has never been a better time to join in shaping its future. Call or stop by today. We love to talk impact.

The work you make possible
Whether you invest directly in the Chamber or make a gift through the Foundation, your support fuels strategic initiatives that build a better future. This is what it means to lead with impact.
YOUR INVESTMENTS SUPPORT:
Workforce and Talent
We strengthen our region’s talent pipeline by connecting students, job seekers, and employers, while supporting the ongoing development of current employees and managers. Through strong public-private partnerships we ensure training programs and workforce investments are aligned and responsive to industry needs.
Business Advocacy
We give business a seat at the table, shaping policy, building relationships with decision-makers, and championing an economy where business can thrive. Our advocacy is rooted in data and dialogue, and focused on creating a competitive business climate.
Business Growth
We actively connect businesses with the tools, expertise, education, and resources they need to grow and succeed. Our programs provide vital support, visibility, and networking opportunities that help businesses expand and thrive.

"[Essential Skills Workshop] provided me with great insights about myself as a leader, and how I can have the greatest impact on my team. Further, it helped me think about the various personalities, strengths, and weaknesses of my team members and how to maximize each of those to be more effective."
Scott Kuvaas,
Commercial Banking Relationship Manager
WaFd Bank

"As a business leader, I’ve found the Springfield Chamber to be an invaluable resource in navigating local and statewide issues that directly impact our business community. The Chamber keeps members informed and engaged – not just about the challenges we face, but also about the solutions being shaped in real time. Being a member of the Springfield Chamber isn’t just beneficial. It’s essential for any business that wants to stay informed, influence policy and help shape a stronger economic future."
Stacy Koos, Senior VP
Summit Bank

“On an almost daily basis, I have the opportunity to refer one of my fellow Greeters’ businesses to a client or a friend. And with fair regularity, I hear from new clients who heard about me from a fellow Greeter. I’d say my Tuesday mornings at Business Before Hours are time well spent.”
